Boss-Peer ReviewThe Boss-Peer Review provides evaluation information on each supervisor from each of the other knowledgeable supervisors, the "Boss", and themselves. Other evaluators may be included. The intention is to provide each supervisor with evaluative information from the group of supervisors and managers they are counting on for their success. (Note: the evaluations by subordinates are in the employee survey.) Forty-eight specific supervisory management skills are identified and evaluated. using ratings from 1 (unacceptable) to 5 (outstanding). These are grouped for understanding and improvement planning into the following areas:
Additionally, each evaluator identifies primary strengths and weaknesses of the supervisor and recommendations for improvement. A composite of these evaluations for the group(s) of supervisors are presented to management in the situational analysis for understanding and improvement planning. |
