Purpose

We'll guide you, the managing executive, to develop your insight into how your company really should work to produce more profit with less effort by learning how to Plan for Profit, Schedule for Profit and Reward for Profit using the products and tools of SetPoint's Light & Agile business philosophy.

Philosophy

Our light & agile Manufacturing practices are designed to protect "engineered" product profits from being eroded during the business process that converts orders to shipments.

Concepts

We introduce you to Light & Agile Manufacturing's new concepts, such as the "Gear Train", "Equivalent $$", and "Proficiency". We teach you to combine these and other new concepts with traditional manufacturing concepts to prevent business process inefficiencies from eroding expected profits.

Products & Tools

Our products: the Profit Model Package ®©, Profit Scheduling ®© and Profit Share ®© and tools, such as the "Buck Sheet" are the tangible assets of Light & Agile Manufacturing. We'll help you use them to monitor and correct the performance of your company's business processes in near real-time.

Process

Best results are realized through a three phase process: Audit, Implementation and Monitoring.

What You Need to Know

Here is what you need to know about how we work with you:

  • We guarantee results!

If you commit to working with SetPoint and you follow our instructions, you will increase your profits.

  • We share in any measurable increase in net profit before taxes and interest!

When you realize measurable gains in gross profit/contribution margin, we get a share of those profits. If profits decrease, we give the money back to you.

How to Get Started

  • Contact us or fill out our on-line questionnaire.

The next step is a free on-site evaluation during which we discuss your questionnaire results and introduce you to our products and services.

  • If it appears that your company is a good candidate for the application of Light and Agile Manufacturing, then the next step is a "free" on-site evaluation meeting.

  • If we mutually agree after the evaluation meeting that your company is a still good candidate for the application of Light and Agile Manufacturing, then we'll begin the six week Audit Phase of the Light and Agile Manufacturing, process.

Audit Phase Deliverables

At the end of the Audit Phase of we deliver the following:

  • Boss/Peer Reviews

  • Employee Reviews

  • Business Systems Audit

  • Static version of the Profit Model Package ®©

You get to keep the audit phase deliverables whether you decide to proceed on to Phase 2, or not.
